Research show that children tend to be more energetic, engaged, creative, and cooperative when they play and learn in more natural environments compared to artificial environments. Additionally, this can help reduce symptoms of attention deficit and depression.
Rather than relying on the typical metal and plastic playground structures, we can integrate the natural landscape and greenery into outdoor play and learning spaces, providing kids with a more enriching and nature-centered experience.
At Bay Area Redwood, we work with landscape architects to repurpose local trees into natural play elements that children will enjoy for decades.
